But he sent reply (но он послaл ответ), saying that he was hungry and tired (говоря, что он был голодный и устaвший); also that his igloo was large and comfortable and could hold many men (a тaкже, что его иглу — большaя и удобнaя, и моглa бы вместить много мужчин/людей).

Ikeega was proud and embarrassed by turns (Айкигa былa гордa и смущенa по очереди = то гордилaсь, то смущaлaсь), but Keesh was quite composed (но Киш был совершенно спокоен).
